We started this site because searching for the perfect northern lights trip felt harder than it should be. Too many tabs, too much jargon, and no easy way to compare the best places and tours.
Why we exist
VisitNorthernLights.com was founded after we found it rather frustrating trying to find the best place to see the northern lights. Information was scattered, forecasts were technical, and it was never clear which destination matched your dates, budget and travel style.
We decided to build the guide we wished we had: one that pairs inspiring destinations with honest advice, live NOAA aurora forecasts and curated tour listings you can actually book.
